The circular economy should be present throughout the value chain, from initial product and production process design to reducing waste generation, encouraging recycling and repurposing waste for reuse. Every business and every sector must contribute to this goal however it can, and the energy sector has been working in that direction for years to “close the circle” in this value chain.
