The Naturgy Foundation will be present at the 45th Annual Meeting of the Spanish Society, being held in Vigo from 23 to 27 September, through “The Circular Challenge”, an interactive technology experience that uses gamification to explain how renewable gas is a key energy source for slowing climate change and promoting the circular economy. Participants will learn how renewable gas is created, how it can be used and about its fundamental role in the future as a clean and sustainable energy. It can be enjoyed at different levels of difficulty and is an excellent tool for transferring expert knowledge to students at secondary school and university, as well as to the general public. In addition to technical matters, the experience also addresses working values, the development of a critical approach, civic spirit and social commitment.
The Annual Meeting of the Spanish Society organises activities that are open to the general public, including the Spanish Nuclear Society’s STEM Programme. This open and free event aimed at pupils in the final two years of secondary school (ESO years 3 and 4) seeks to train the younger generation in technical and scientific concepts related to science and technology in general and energy in particular.
