Build efficiently!

“Build efficiently” is a software programme that allows you to design the construction of a sustainable building with three different options: construction of a new property, renovation of a property and construction of a new school. The 3D visualisation provides a real view of the property, which enables the student to become involved in the project.

The students should select the different options that the software provides, including the orientation, insulation, windows and the type of lighting and air conditioning. While constructing the property, the software shows us the ecological footprint and the real cost based on the materials selected.

The final objective is to obtain a property energy certificate as well as to calculate the ecological footprint of the property, while adhering to a real programme of energy certification and simplifying the parameters to ensure the students can understand them. This programme is presented as a good resource for teachers for content about efficiency, energy savings, energy and technology. The programme has a neutral, clear and concise design, is intuitive to use and suitable for all types of student.
