SUMMARY:Exhibition entitled: “Want to play? Let’s think about energy!”. Vila de Cruces
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1501687840871{margin-right: 3px !important;}”][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”6″][vc_column_text]Between 20 July and 25 November 2018\, the Fontao Mining Museum in Vila de Cruces is presenting “Want to play? Let’s think about energy!”\, an interactive exhibition by the Naturgy Foundation where you will discover the secrets of gas and electricity as sources of energy through an interactive space with educational and fun experiments designed by the famous scientist Dani Jiménez. Stimulate all your senses and try experiencing the nature\, creation and distribution of these energies which are so vital to everyday life. Do we know enough about the energy that surrounds us? How can human beings produce energy? How was energy created in the past\, without modern-day technology? What tools do we use today to produce energy and bring it to our homes? What is the economic cost of energy and what efficiency measures can we adopt to avoid wasting it?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1521645800416{padding-right: 15px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;background-color: #f0f0f0 !important;}”][vc_column_text]Dates. 20 July to 24 March 2018. \nTime. SUMMARY:“Cleanairs at the YOMO Festival” activity. Barcelona
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1501687840871{margin-right: 3px !important;}”][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”6″][vc_column_text]This interactive initiative is a challenge for reflecting on a key phenomenon for people’s health and the environment. \nAimed at boosting the educational\, environmental and cultural development of society\, the Naturgy Foundation presents an initiative that shows how the phenomenon of air pollution is a key factor for people’s health and the environment. The implementation of various initiatives by the public authorities\, private companies and the public will be an essential challenge for meeting the levels set by the World Health Organisation for improving air quality in our environment. \nThe air quality game\, called Cleanairs\, sets the challenge of improving the air quality in a city through actions to be undertaken by four hypothetical council authorities represented on an interactive table. During a match that represents a four-year political mandate\, players accept the challenge of promoting public policy on energy\, urban planning\, mobility\, cleaning and waste management. In this way\, players deal with major issues in managing a city that also have a direct impact on the quality of the air we breathe. \nCleanairs is a game played by several different groups in a single match at the same time. As the various participating teams make decisions from their respective council authorities\, the actions they take are projected on a screen in real time using a new digital format. This means that players work on negotiation\, civic spirit and social commitment while the audience watching the game can develop its critical opinions and analyse the policies being promoted\, compare the different opinions and assess the consequences of the decisions taken by each team. The game about air quality can be played at various difficulty levels and is led by a moderator specialised in environmental affairs who encourages in-depth debate about the future of cities and everyone’s commitment. \nCleanairs will be presented at the YoMo –The Youth Mobile Festival-\, organised by GSMA and Mobile World Capital Barcelona in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat between 26 February and 1 March 2019. This interactive and participatory event designed for students aged 8-16 seeks to inspire thousands of young people and help them learn more about the professional careers open to them in the STEAM sectors of an increasingly mobile world. For four days\, YoMo Barcelona will welcome 22\,000 school children from Catalonia and Spain for an enormous science and technology fair.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1521645800416{padding-right: 15px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;background-color: #f0f0f0 !important;}”][vc_column_text]Dates. 26 February to 1 March 2019. \nTime. SUMMARY:Exhibition "Air quality. A current challenge. " Madrid
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”12px”][vc_column_text]The exhibition “The quality of the air. A current challenge”\, produced by the Naturgy Foundation with the aim of contributing to the educational development and environmental awareness of society\, shows how the phenomenon of air pollution is a key factor that determines the health of people and the environment. The implementation of different initiatives\, by administrations\, private companies and citizens\, will be an essential challenge to meet the levels set by the World Health Organization to improve the air quality of our environment. In this context\, among other measures\, the responsible use of energy and\, in particular\, of natural gas as a clean fuel\, will be a determining factor to reduce emissions and seek to improve air quality. The sample\, curated by the expert professor in atmospheric pollution\, Dr. Xavier Querol\, offers the tools to know and interpret the key factors that determine air quality through four areas: the description of the phenomenon\, the causes that cause it\, the effects that produce it and the solutions to address it. Before its stop in Madrid\, the exhibition has made its way through Barcelona and Guadalajara.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space height=”12px”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1553791067429{padding-top: 10px !important;padding-right: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;padding-left: 25px !important;background-color: #004571 !important;border-radius: 3px !important;}”] \n\nFrom March 28 to April 12\, 2019\, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.\nNaturgy Headquarters\nAv. During the games\, participants assume the challenge of promoting public policies on energy\, urban planning\, mobility\, cleaning and waste management. The proposals that are generated are projected in real time on screens\, in order to compare the different options proposed by the participants and assess the consequences of the decisions made by each team. \nCleanairs will be presented at the Madrid Fair for Science and Innovation\, organized by IFEMA\, Feria de Madrid and Madri + d Foundation for Knowledge\, within the Education Week.
