Rafael Villaseca Marco


He was born in Barcelona, in 1951. He has a degree in Industrial Engineering, specialising in Industrial Organisation, from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña and an MBA from the IESE business school, University of Navarre. He was chief executive officer of Naturgy from January 2005 to February 2018. He was previously a Director at Enegás, General Managing Director at Grupo Panrico, Chairman of Túneles y Accesos de Barcelona, S.A. (TABASA), Chairman of Túnel del Cadí, S.A.C., Chairman of Gestión de Infraestructuras, S.A., Chairman of Grupo INISEL (now Grupo INDRA), CEO of Nueva Montaña Quijano, S.A., Executive Director of Naturgy, Executive Director of Amper, S.A., and CEO of Unión Fenosa. He has also been Chairman of the Ex Alumni Association of the IESE business school.

Jordi Garcia Tabernero

Vice Chairman

He was born in Barcelona, in 1964. He has a degree in Information Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, and took the Senior Management Programme (PADE) at the IESE. He also completed the IESE-Universidad de Navarra Business Communication Programme in Madrid, and a Master’s in Public Administration Management Development at ESADE. He has held several positions in the field of communications in regional and municipal public administrations, as well as at different media outlets. He joined the company in 2004 and since then he has been director of Communication and Institutional Relations. Since April 2017, he has been Deputy Chairman of the Naturgy Foundation. In May 2009 he was appointed Managing Director of Communication and Institutional Relations. He is also President of the Communication Committee of the Spanish Association of Gas Industries (Sedigas). He has been Chairman of the association Dircom in Catalonia since its creation in October 2007, until March 2016, and Honorary Chairman of the association since December 2017.

Rosa María Sanz

Rosa María Sanz García


Born in Plasencia (Cáceres) in 1969. She studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Madrid and has an Executive Master’s in Business from ESADE business school, in addition to a Global CEO Master’s from IESE business school. Furthermore, she completed a course on the Power Sector Economy at the University Carlos III of Madrid. Her professional career began at Red Eléctrica de España. She joined the Gas Natural Fenosa in 1999, having previously been working at the Compañía Operadora del Mercado Español de la Electricidad (the Spanish Electricity Market Operating Company). She previously held the post of Director of Global Accounts in the Wholesale Business Division, as well as a number of other positions related to the energy markets over the last 16 years. She was named managing director of People and Resources at Gas Natural Fenosa on 1 April 2015, and has been the managing director of EMEA Infrastructures at Naturgy since July 2018.


Manuel Fernández Álvarez


He has a degree in Mining Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master’s in Business Administration and Management from the Instituto de Empresas in Madrid. He worked in Red Eléctrica de España and the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Energy. After this, he was the commercial director at ENEGAS and then joined Naturgy (then named Gas Natural), where he was appointed Managing Director of the Group’s Wholesale Businesses in May 2005. He has held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Gas & Power since June 2018. Furthermore, he is chairman of the Irish company Vayu Ltd. and a member of the board of directors of EcoEléctrica (Puerto Rico), Operador del Mercado Ibérico de Energía-Polo Español (OMIE), Operador del Mercado Ibérico de Energía-Polo Portugués (OMIP) and Operador del Mercado Ibérico de Gas (MIBGAS). He has served as consultant to the European Union for the restructuring of the energy sectors in Eastern European countries and as a professor at University Carlos III of Madrid.

Jon Ganuza

Jon Ganuza Fernández de Arroyabe


He was born in Zaragoza in 1973. He is an industrial engineer specialised in electricity, and holds a degree in physical sciences from the University of Zaragoza and an executive MBA from IESE business school. He began his professional career in BSH Hausgeräte, and then moved on to AT Kearney and Deloitte. He joined the international energy company in 2008, where he held several positions in the Division of strategy and development. He was appointed manager of controlling at Naturgy in July 2018.


Manuel García Cobaleda


He was born in Salamanca in 1968. He has a Law Degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and was awarded the Extraordinary Degree Award for the year 1990/1991 and the Best in Year award at the Universidad Complutense in the social sciences faculty in 1992. García Cobaleda has been a State Lawyer since 1994 and took the IESE Management Development Programme in 2001. He was head of State Legal Services in Zamora, León and Madrid between 1994 and 1998. From 1998 to 1999 he acted as adviser to the Minister of the Environment. In 1999 he joined the group as Director of Legal Services for Marketing and in July 2005, he was appointed as Director of Legal Services in the Group. Since 2010 he has also been Secretary of the Board of Directors of Naturgy Energy Group S.A.


María Eugenia Coronado

General Manager

Degree in Public Accounting from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota. She joined Naturgy in 2001 as Director of Economic and Financial Affairs of various businesses in Latin America. She then took on the role of Financial Director in Italy, and returned to Latin America in 2007 as Management Director and then Director of Regulated Revenue Latin America and Data Officer Latin America.
