Training Program for Export
The Foundation together with the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) and the Business School of the Barcelona School of Management of the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, organized the Training Program for export.The programme aims to:
- Contribute to developing the export knowledge of Algerian companies.
- Respond to the specialisation demands of Algerian professionals in the international trade sector to allow them to address the challenges of the international trade policy in a multicultural environment.
Three forms of action are combined:
1. Training programme in commercial exports, held in Algiers.
2. Programme of specialised international seminars, held in Algiers.
3. Study trip and end of programme in Barcelona (Barcelona School of Management and Naturgy Foundation).
These training seminars are part of the partnership between the Pompeu Fabra University Barcelona School of Management, the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) and the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, for the joint organisation of programmes of interest in the area of business training in Algeria.
Partnership agreement
The partnership agreement formalisation session between the three organisations took place in the Barcelona School of Management headquarters in Barcelona on 21 May 2015. The agreement was signed by Carme Martinell, Managing Director of UPF Barcelona School of Management, Mohamed Chami, Director General of the CACI and Manuel Beguer i Mayor, International Project Coordinator in the Naturgy Foundation.
In March 2016, the “Programme de Formation pour l’Export” of the 2015/2016 academic year concluded with a ceremony at the Foundation led by the General Consul of Algeria. The new programme for 2016/2017 is being prepared.
Since 2007, 1,000 entrepreneurs and 50 entrepreneurs’ trainers have participated in the seminars.
