Energy efficiency in the rehabilitation of buildings

In Spain there is an important park of buildings of a certain age and very inefficient from the energy point of view. This book evaluates the main energy efficiency measures that can be carried out in the rehabilitation of buildings from the double point of view of energy saving and economic cost (cost / benefit). It also estimates the amortization period of the necessary investments and the reduction of CO2 emissions obtained. In all cases, it is distinguished according to the climatic zone analyzed and the use of the building (housing, offices or hotels). This study analyzes in detail 27 energy efficiency measures in three large blocks: the envelope of the building, the energy facilities and the management.
