Our energy, our challenge<\/h4>With the aim of providing access to education in the fields of science and technology for new generations, the Naturgy Foundation<\/strong>, the Spanish Science Association Foundation against Cancer<\/strong>, the Eduardo Barreiros Foundation<\/strong>, the Junior Achievement Foundation<\/strong>, the Pfizer Foundation<\/strong> and the Telef\u00f3nica Foundation<\/strong>, within the Board of Foundations for Science framework, and in collaboration with The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT)<\/strong>, are launching the\u00a0third\u00a0edition\u00a0of the \u2018Meet a scientist\u2019 competition.<\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”48px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1550163378570{background-color: #e5ecf1 !important;}”][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

\"bombilla-transparente\"<\/a>Who is it aimed at and what does it consist of?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Initiative aimed at young people in\u00a05th and 6th years of primary school and 1st and 2nd years of ESO\u00a0<\/strong>from schools\u00a0in Granada and neighboring provinces of Andalusia<\/strong>, represented by a tutor or teacher who will be responsible for each group.<\/li>\n
  2. Selected school groups will have the opportunity to talk to and personally interview a scientist<\/strong>\u00a0or leading expert in the country.<\/li>\n
  3. Participating students should\u00a0research, document and work as a team<\/strong>, asking meaningful questions and presenting their work in public.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. If you would like your students to participate, encourage your class to make a video<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. You should explain the value of the scientific project developed in class<\/strong>\u00a0and the reasons why you deserve the panel\u2019s recognition.<\/li>\n
    3. The award consists of a visit\u00a0<\/strong>to the\u00a0Pfizer Center-University of Granada-Andalusian Board of Genomics and Oncology Research (GENYO)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
