In the coming days the Naturgy Foundation is organising five Energy School training sessions in the province of Granada for families in a situation of energy vulnerability. The aim is to offer them some guidelines on how to consume energy more efficiently, so they can reduce the amount of their bills without affecting their home comfort.<\/p>\n

The sessions, which will be organised by Granada Provincial Council, will be held on 28 May in Olivares, 29 May in Benal\u00faa. 30 May in Cijuela, 4 June in L\u00e1char and 5 June in Gu\u00e9jar. So far this year, the Naturgy Foundation has held 30 Energy School training days in various towns around Granada.<\/p>\n

The School sessions work on subjects related to energy efficiency or optimising bills. They also give information on people who might be eligible for the subsidised rate, and help them to apply for it. \u201cWhat we are trying to do is empower the most vulnerable people, so they can minimise the impact of the cost of energy by applying the measures and advice explained at the workshops\u201d, says Ester Sevilla<\/b>, director of the Naturgy Foundation\u2019s Social Projects and International area<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The Energy School is a Naturgy Foundation project and part of Naturgy\u2019s Energy Vulnerability Plan.Mar\u00eda Coronado, Managing Director of the Naturgy Foundation<\/b>, highlights the partnerships they have with public authorities and social entities for running the School: \u201cThis initiative is only possible thanks to the support of others with a lot of experience in this field, such as the public authorities, and the professionals and volunteers from NGOs, such as Cruz Roja and C\u00e1ritas, as well as many other social organisations that are doing a great job throughout Spain.\u201d<\/p>\n
