The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation takes part in the Region of Madrid’s 4º ESO+Empresa programme

The initiative, an extracurricular volunteering programme, aims to bring the educational system and the working world closer together through educational placements in companies and institutions.

The programme will be held over four days at Gas Natural Fenosa, where the students will visit different company facilities to learn about the sought-after professional profiles.

From 18 to 21 April, the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation will take part in the Region of Madrid’s 4º ESO+Empresa programme for the second consecutive year. This initiative from the General Management of Nursery, Primary and Secondary Education, in collaboration with the five Regional Departments, aims to bring the educational system and the working world closer together through educational placements in companies and institutions. The 4º ESO+Empresa programme is a voluntary extracurricular activity that encourages young students to be better prepared for making decisions about their academic and professional future.

During the four sessions, which will take place at Gas Natural Fenosa, the participating students will visit different facilities of the Group and receive talks about the different corporate departments in order to understand first-hand the tasks carried out and the professional profiles that are required at the energy multinational. At the last session, the students will visit the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation’s Bolarque Museum in Guadalajara, which will introduce them to the history of a company with over 170 years of history and show them the social, cultural and educational activities carried out by the Foundation.
