Energy, the Environment and Industry 4.0. Valencia

What is Industry 4.0? How can energy and environmental management at companies improve Industry 4.0? Such concepts as the “Internet of Things”, 3D printing, large-scale analysis of large databases, artificial intelligence, collaborative robotics and virtual reality are defining this new industrial revolution. In short, the accelerated digitalisation of manufacturing processes that will allow products to be obtained that better suit the preferences of each customer.

This seminar will define Industry 4.0 and its technologies, and then present practical cases applicable to the energy, metal and ceramic sectors. To conclude, a description will be provided of the strategy contained in the Industry 4.0 Agenda of the Regional Government of Valencia. The seminar will also provide examples of Industry 4.0, interacting with the PEPE Robot and trying out some virtual reality goggles.
