Economic aspects of the new energy model. Barcelona

The new electricity generation and distribution methods are today operating in a Spanish electricity market designed 20 years ago around an energy model that was very different to the one we have today. The strong emergence of renewable energies and other forms of distributed generation are not only affecting the “electricity mix” but also influencing the price of electricity and the development of investment in the sector.
We will examine the economic aspects of this transition, a phenomenon that is happening worldwide, and how the company should adapt to the new bill requirements under the new energy model.
