“Energy and air quality: diagnosis and answers” seminar. Guadalajara

Air pollution represents a major environmental risk to health and, according to the World Health Organisation, 92% of the global population lives in places that ignore WHO guidelines on air quality. Regrettably, it has become somewhat standard for the public to recognise poor air quality in major cities when they see the so-called “pollution berets”. This problem needs to be remedied and action should therefore be taken on the main causes behind this pollution.
