The UN Sustainable Development Goals predict complex challenges in the energy sector. To reach these goals in the 2030 Agenda, technology innovation will be an essential ingredient, promoting the creation of a renewable energy source that ensures decarbonisation, eliminating CO2 and improving air quality in our environment.
The Naturgy Foundation presents “The Circular Challenge”, an interactive technology experience which, through gamification, explains how renewable gas is a key energy source for tackling climate change and promoting the circular economy. The participants will learn how renewable gas is created, how it can be used and about its fundamental role in the future as a clean and sustainable energy. This can be carried out at different degrees of difficulty and is an excellent tool for transferring expert knowledge to students at secondary school and university, as well as to the general public. In addition to technical matters, the experience also addresses working values, the development of a critical approach, civic spirit and social commitment.
Imperdible_04, organised by the Cotec Foundation in partnership with the City Hall of Madrid, is an interactive, hands-on event about innovation. This year’s edition is focused on demonstrating the importance of innovation as a driver to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through several immersive experiences, attendees will discover how achieving the goals set in the 2030 Agenda requires the implementation of governmental measures and policies, participation from private-sector companies and public awareness and involvement.
