“Programme de Formation pour l´Export”

The Export Training Programme opened on Sunday 17 May at the CACI (Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) office in Algiers. It was led by professor Pere Serra, Relationship Manager in the Department of International Financial Institutions of “La Caixa” and professor of the Master’s in International Trade at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF).

This programme is the result of a partnership agreement between the CACI (Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), the Barcelona School of Management at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona and the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation.

The programme started on 17 May and will not conclude until April 2016. It is designed for students with international trade and marketing training who are interested in specialising in the world of exports and, in addition to specific exports training, includes six international seminars with the following titles:

1. Introduction General

2. Contrats Internationaux

3. Negotiation Interculturel

4. Langue

5. Marketing International

6. Logistique International

Students will also have a practical placement in the city of Barcelona for one week.

On Thursday 21 May, the partnership agreement between the CACI, the UPF and the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation was signed by Mohamed Chami, Managing Director of the CACI, Carme Martinell, Managing Director of the Barcelona School of Management and Manuel Beguer i Mayor, International Project Coordinator at the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation.
