On 18 September, the Director of the Gas Museum, Eva Buch, took part in the 7th edition of the Campus Gutenburg. This meeting of professionals of science communication and education is led by the Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication Master’s (UPF Barcelona School of Management) and the “la Caixa” Banking Foundation, in collaboration with the Centre of Science, Communication and Social Studies at the Pompeu Fabra University (CCS-UPF), the Catalan Association for Science Communication (ACCC), the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) and the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competition.
Eva Buch introduced a brief talk about corporate museums using the examples of the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation Gas Museum and Bolarque Museum. The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation corporate museums, travelling exhibitions and educational programmes represent a dissemination tool in the fields of energy efficiency, sustainability and industrial heritage. “The corporate cultural facilities are able to transfer our values to society very effectively because they provide valuable experiences to visitors who actively participate in the centre’s cultural and educational programme,” explained Eva Buch.
