The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation attended the meeting of the FECYT Board of Foundations for Science.

On 18 April, the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation attended the meeting of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) Board of Foundations for Science.

The meeting, which was held in the Alcobendas branch of the National Museum of Science and Technology (MUNCYT), was attended by the Secretary of State for R+D+i, Carmen Vela, the Managing Director of the FECYT, Paloma Domingo, and representatives from the institutions that make up the Board. Carmen Vela praised the work of the 53 foundations on the Board who disseminate and promote science.

The Board of Foundations, which is led by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology and was officially formed in 2014, aims to spread and promote good practices to encourage and increase scientific activity. The committee, which includes the private Spanish foundations that assign funds to research and innovation because of their mission, objectives and tradition of investment, also aims to be a connection between the foundations focused on science in order to establish possible alliances and finance joint projects.
