The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, leader in transparency in 2015 for the fifth consecutive year

The ‘Constuir Confianza 2015’ study created by the Commitment and Transparency Foundation, which is now in its seventh edition, listed the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, alongside the Accenture, Atresmedia, Bancaria La Caixa and Telefónica foundations, as the most transparent in 2015.

This voluntary transparency report assesses aspects such as online publication of contact information, mission statement, description of programmes and activities, information about

management, staff and trustees, foundation governance, economic information and performance measurement.

The analysis of business sectors that the corporate foundations work in shows that Energy followed by Insurance are the sectors with the most transparent foundations. The Agro-food, Automotive, Construction, Distribution, Pharmaceutical, Financial, Infrastructures, Mining, Services, Tobacco and Telecommunications sectors are those that include the most Translucent and Opaque catalogued foundations (those that comply with 12 and 8 of the 17 transparency indicators respectively).

The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, founded in 1992, works to promote information and training and raise social awareness of improvements in energy efficiency and technological
innovation in the field of energy while respecting and protecting the environment. It promotes cultural activities through its Gas Museum that are aimed at preserving and publicising
the sector's historical and cultural heritage. Its international activities are carried out in Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Morocco, Italy, Moldova and South Africa.
