The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation participates in the “Boost for your Business” programme to support training in plumbing, water, gas and electricity

With the aim of boosting employability and contributing to the development and training of entrepreneurs in technical subjects, the members of the Mixed Fund awarded certificates to the participants who concluded their theoretical-practical training in Human Development, Plumbing, Water, Gas, Electricity and Civil Protection in the “Boost for your Business” programme.

The programme is promoted by the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, coordinated by the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID) and the Mexican Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AMEXCID), carried out by ProEmpleo D.F. and the Cuauhtémoc Delegation is the recipient of the programme.

The “Boost for your Business” programme includes theoretical-practical sessions that look to provide participants with the tools to develop in the technical professions of plumbing, water, gas and electricity.

In this first group, certificates were awarded to participants who completed their 170-hour theoretical-practical training and who committed to the entire eight weeks. The programme will benefit a total of 120 people over two years, including women and children, who are all residents of the Cuauhtémoc Delegation.

“This programme, which is supported by the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, is aligned with our Social Corporate Responsibility Policy because it encourages training to boost employability, and entrepreneurship for participants and their families,” said Ángel Larrage Palacios, representative of the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation in Mexico and Chairman of Gas Natural Fenosa in Mexico.

Representatives from the AECID and AMEXCID agencies, the Cuauhtémoc Delegation and ProEmpleo D.F. attended the event.
