The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation and the Corporate University supported the First Lego League, organised by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid

The First Lego League is an international challenge that is designed to generate interest in science and technology among young people. To achieve its objective, it provides themed challenges to involve 10 to 16 year olds in research, the resolution of problems and science.

On 18 February, the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation Gas Museum participated in the First Lego League, the great international challenge for promoting scientific and technological professions among children. It took place at the Higher Technical School of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). At this competition, over 150 students between 10 and 16 years old from Madrid resolved real problems and presented creative solutions for the lives of animals.

With the aim of promoting scientific and technological professions, the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation and Corporate University supported the initiative by providing the entertainment area prior to the competition and awarding the prize to the best science project. The Gas Museum also supplemented the First Lego League competition by providing its mobile exhibition, Energytruck, where you can discover, in a visual and interactive way, what energy is and how we can use it responsibly.
