Energy rehabilitation of homes
The Naturgy Foundation provides express rehabilitation in the homes of families who need it, in collaboration with social entities or local council Social Service departments. The aim is to carry out improvements in homes to increase energy efficiency, which do not involve structural intervention and can be implemented quickly.
Actions must be directly or indirectly linked to the use/consumption of energy in the home, related to insulation and carpentry, damp, repair or replacement of boilers, water heaters and electrical appliances, repair of electrical and natural gas installations, etc.
These interventions do not require building permits and do not oblige the family to vacate the home.
The Foundation has support from partner companies to carry out these rehabilitations, if necessary, with the aim of making the process as streamlined as possible. It also offers a home audit service for the detection of needs and inventory of the interventions required in each home.

Call for applications for aid to social organisations
Naturgy Foundation wants to focus on those social organisations (associations, foundations or institutions in general) that have also suffered the consequences of the torrential rains and have seen their headquarters or offices affected. To this end, it is launching a call for aid for the energy refurbishment of their facilities.
One or more projects may be financed, in whole or in part, with a budget per project of up to €20,000 until the call funds have been used up. Projects that are already under way can be submitted.
The call will be launched on 15 July. Applications will be accepted until 30 September.
Solar installations in care centres for vulnerable people
Naturgy Foundation bears the cost of the installation and commissioning of solar generation plants in centres operated by social organisations for the care of vulnerable people.
The aim of this action is to enable the organisation to save on its energy bill and thus be able to allocate more resources to the care and help of people in need.
