A proposal that shows how the phenomenon of atmospheric pollution is a key factor affecting the health of people and the environment

This virtual exhibition, produced by the Naturgy Foundation, shows how air pollution is a key factor affecting people’s health and the environment. The implementation of different initiatives by public authorities, private companies and the general public will be an essential challenge for reaching the levels set by the World Health Organisation to improve air quality in our surroundings. Against this backdrop and among other measures, the responsible use of energy and, more specifically, of natural gas as a clean fuel will be a decisive factor in reducing emissions and trying to improve air quality. Curated by Dr Xavier Querol, an expert in air pollution, the exhibition offers tools to help us understand and interpret the key factors that determine air quality through four sections: a description of the phenomenon, the underlying causes, the effects it generates and the solutions for tackling it.

An excellent educational resource for secondary school, Baccalaureate, and vocational training students

It is an opportunity for students to familiarise themselves with technical curricular content as they learn about air pollution and become active agents who will work to find solutions to the environmental challenge.
