ALIDA Ingeniería del Medio SL: Learn by playing and teach by playing! Energy and its relationship with the environment

The initiative aims to raise awareness among secondary school pupils and older people about energy and its relationship with the environment through the “from Renewable to Renewable” Educational Game, in which young people play with their teachers in the classroom. They then take the “travelling game home” and play with families, neighbours and friends, Senior Citizens Clubs and Religious Congregations. It is aimed at villages in rural Spain, making them more dynamic by different generations playing a “board game of energy and the environment”.

The main objective is to employ young people at risk of exclusion in the renewable energy sector. Generamés provides training in renewable installations (solar panels, chargers, aerothermal energy) to socially excluded groups and incorporates them into the social insertion company so that within a maximum period of 3 years (by law) they can make the leap to the ordinary company. They are people at risk of exclusion, such as former wards of the state, young migrants who arrived alone or people who are chronically marginalised and who work in scrap metal collection to survive.
