Whoever wins,
everybody wins

Naturgy Foundation recognizes the individuals
or entities that promote better conditions for the most
vulnerable groups on energy-related issues.

Our priority, quality of life for the most vulnerable

In line with its desire to engage in social actions aimed at alleviating energy vulnerability, Naturgy Foundation is launching the first round of the “Prize for Best Social Energy Initiative”. This initiative seeks two objectives: to raise the profile of outstanding individuals, entities and institutions in social sectors tied, directly or indirectly, to energy, and to help a fund initiatives in this field to improve quality of life for the most vulnerable.

Hence, the full amount of the prize must be spent on social projects that promote better conditions for the most vulnerable groups on energy-related issues. In its assessment, the panel will consider whether any of the proposed projects and initiatives have a clear social purpose.

Furthermore, it will also assess the results and impact of the initiatives that the individual or entity has already carried out in the past within the Third Sector. The social relevance, scope and scalability of the work, synergies with other individuals and institutions, and transparency and good management in the funding will be other criteria considered when choosing the winners.

  • What is the prize?
First prize will consist of 60,000 euros, and there will also be a runners-up prize of 30,000 euros. These amounts must be spent on social initiatives by the winners.
  • Who can support this initiative?
All those individuals or legal entities that, through their work, generate improvements in the social conditions of the most disadvantaged groups with actions tied, directly or indirectly, to the field of energy.
  • What is the deadline for applying?
