The storage of electricity

Until today we have not been able to store electricity in a practical, easy and cheap way. For this reason we must consume it immediately after it is generated. The storage of electricity is the system or device that allows to accumulate energy for its use at a later time either in the short or long term, intensively or in a sustained manner over time. The introduction of storage elements allows the accumulation of energy during the time when the production exceeds the consumption and the quantity stored is used when the consumption exceeds the production. This allows increasing energy efficiency and competitiveness, facilitating the regulation and security of the electricity network and reducing costs.
