Evolution of greenhouse gas emissions in Spain 2005-2022

Naturgy Foundation has published the Evolution of greenhouse gas emissions in Spain 2005-2022 document, carried out by the Liken Carbon Hub international environmental consultancy.

The study analyses the evolution of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Spain over the last eighteen years, with a special focus on last year’s emissions. This period coincides with the implementation of the greenhouse gases emissions trading scheme in the European Union.

Data verified by this system in Spain has been used for this analysis, as well as data provided by the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory, including a special chapter on the projections of the updated PNIEC 2023-2030.
