A model of a local energy company: Gas Reusense (1854 – 1969)

The gas industry arrived in Reus, then the second city of Catalonia, changing the habits of its citizens. The work explains the link between the industrial activity of the local Gas Reusense company with the evolution of the population and the society of the time. The company was created mainly with local capital, and became a symbol of progress and modernity.
