Energy networks and territorial planning

The importance of the networks in the configuration of the city is of vital importance as the authors indicate: “Thus when the city is conceived, it is no longer correct to interpret the networks as support elements that facilitate its functioning. Now, we must see networks as elements that define urban reality. […] if there are no networks, there is no city. ” The book presents the current reality of the functioning of these problems and their corresponding environments, first in the situation of the Spanish regulations and their application practice, to later describe in depth the European Union’s policy on the matter, and state how they are resolved the same problems in various countries of the European Union, such as the United Kingdom or France, or other countries.
