The role of the gas distribution network in the Spanish energy system

This report analyses the strategic role gas networks play in energy security and territorial cohesion, as well as their ability to adapt to new system challenges. Building on the current infrastructure, these networks will remain an essential asset and offer consumers an additional option to access decarbonised energy in a net‑zero future.
