The Gas Museum presents the ‘Energy’ exhibition at the Tordera Library
The travelling exhibition will be open to visitors until 24 November and will reflect on the energy of the future and the tools available to tackle it responsibly.
The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation Gas Museum presents the ‘Energy’ travelling exhibition at the Tordera Library. The exhibition, which is open to visitors until 24 November, reveals the leading role energy played in the progress of society, from public street lighting in cities to the introduction of modern domestic appliances in homes. It also provides visitors with a view of the future of energy and the tools we have to tackle it responsibly and efficiently.
Responsible energy consumption
By presenting the different energy alternatives that are currently available, the exhibition shows the keys to understanding the advantages and disadvantages of all sources of energy to emphasise that there are no magic formulas for solving our energy needs in the future. That is why the exhibition leads visitors towards the crucial issues of our future agenda: encouraging responsible energy consumption with minimal environmental impact through savings and efficiency.
The Tordera Library places special interest on raising awareness of this matter because it has the Environmental Quality Guarantee Seal, so one of the library’s roles is to encourage energy saving and respect of the Environment.
