In collaboration with the Regional Council of Energy Efficiency, the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation Gas Museum is bringing the exhibition entitled ‘Energy’ to El Vendrell. It will be open to the public from 27 April to 17 June at the La Estación Civic Centre.
This fun and entertaining exhibition proposes a journey through the evolution of the gas and electricity industries during the 19th and 20th centuries by revealing the social changes brought about by the application of new technologies and new inventions. The exhibition also reflects on the present and future of energy while also raising awareness about the importance of making efficient use of available resources for producing energy in a constant, economic and environmentally-friendly manner.
It is a small exhibition that has been adapted to the hall at the civic centre and is accompanied by five interactive modules on hydro-power, solar energy, wind power, energy transport and energy efficiency, through which visitors will be able to learn a great deal about energy.
Furthermore, it discusses the subject of how to tackle the future of energy and explains the most outstanding characteristics of each form of energy that we consume nowadays, offering a global overview that enables each visitor to reach their own conclusions based on the principle that sustainability, efficiency and the environment are key aspects of our energy future.
