The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, through its Gas Museum, contributed to the festival, which took place in the Parque de les Glorias in Barcelona, on 25 and 26 April. Through an on-site demonstration, the attendees discovered the history of lighting, from its beginnings with gas lighting, to the modern day, accompanied by original, iconic items from the museum collection, such as the lamplighter’s rod. The activities in the Plaza de las Glorias included a visit from the Mayor of Barcelona, Xavier Trias, who praised the Foundation’s initiative, which attracted over 15,000 people.
