Seminar: “Pioneering better air quality in european cities”. Brussels

The event will also include a presentation of the book Air Quality in Cities: A Global Challenge, led by Xavier Querol and 17 expert contributors. Attendants will receive a copy of the book.

Ms Maria Eugenia Coronado, Director-General of the Naturgy Foundation, and Mr Daniel Calleja Crespo, Director-General of DG Environment at the European Commission, will open the event. They will be followed by a keynote speech from Ms Nathalie Roebbel, Coordinator Air Pollution and Urban Health, World Health Organisation, and an expert panel to discuss solutions to tackling air pollution in urban areas.
