The chairman of Naturgy, Francisco Reynés, met with 300 of the company's volunteers online to recognise the involvement and dedication of the group of employees across the world during the Covid-19 public health crisis.
In the last year, close to 1,100 company volunteers dedicated 6,600 working hours across seven countries to their tasks with people in a situation of energy vulnerability and conferences on the environmental recovery of natural spaces, among other actions.
The two entities, which have been working together for two years, have renewed their agreement to continue helping vulnerable families through the various social action programmes put together by the Naturgy Foundation.
The Environmental Volunteering Programme, which seeks to raise environmental awareness among Naturgy employees, is celebrating its fifth anniversary; five years during which 35 m3 of waste have been cleared and more than 3,600 plant specimens have been planted.
